Mapping and Digitizing Drainage Systems from the Air
Fast, cost-effective, contactless.

Maintaining drainage systems is one of the most important factors for maximizing yield.

Drainage mapped in a GIS system. From here, all drainage plans can be maintained and exported to other systems such as mobile devices. Using an RTK measurement rod, drain lines can be located or marked with centimeter precision. Even underground inspection shafts can be quickly located with minimal effort.

With modern drone technology, it is now possible to generate high-resolution aerial imagery and use it to precisely reference physical features.

Thanks to our many years of experience in practical farming, we understand how important accurate information on drainage systems is — to avoid wasting time searching for old installations.
With RTK technology, it is now possible to locate or mark points with up to 2 cm accuracy.

Using highly accurate orthophotos, we can map drainage systems on vegetated or freshly cultivated farmland. These systems can then be georeferenced upon request using GIS tools and delivered to the client in all standard formats.
